Our Network Gathering Day is just over a month away and it is time to get your registration forms in so that catering and other arrangements can be finalised. The program of speakers and events for the gathering day have been finalised and promise participants an inspiring day.
The program, which begins with registration at 9am, includes:
Morning Session
- Welcome to Country
- Introductions
- 1st Keynote Speaker – Winifred Doherty rgs (UN in New York). Her address will be followed by questions.
- 2nd Keynote Speaker – Theresa Symons, Director of the Good Shepherd Welfare Centre in Malaysia, followed by questions.
- Announcement of the inaugural Spirit of St Mary Euphrasia Award winner.

Afternoon Session
Workshops
People will have the opportunity to participate in two workshops during the afternoon. Workshops offered are:
- Asylum seekers and Refugees – How to influence policy.
- Reconciliation – Whose issue is it – really?
- Widening the Circle – Ethical trading as a way to combat trafficking and forced migration.
- Ecology – Why Give A Damn?
Workshops will be followed by the World Café, which includes afternoon tea.
The Gathering Day will conclude around 4.30pm.
